Dental emergencies can be stressful for both children and parents. Prompt treatment helps address pain, prevent complications, and protect your child’s oral health.
If you are a registered patient, please call our office right away if your child has a fractured tooth, a knocked out tooth or other dental trauma. We make every effort to see emergency patients the same day. After hours, a doctor is on call to help guide families through urgent situations.

Yes, South OC Pediatric Dentistry is always accepting new patients. We provide pediatric dental care for infants, children, and teens throughout Mission Viejo and surrounding South Orange County communities.
Is there a cost for my baby’s first dental checkup?
We offer a free well check for babies under 18 months, giving parents an early opportunity to monitor dental development, ask questions, and get guidance on building healthy habits from the beginning.
Do I need to complete any forms before my child’s first appointment?
Yes. We will send your new patient forms by text message before your child’s appointment. Please complete them before your visit so our team can review your child’s health history, insurance information, and any concerns you would like to discuss.
